Experience the fun and decadence of The Big Easy (shirt on, this time) with a delicious coffee-meets-bourbon brunch cocktail!
3 oz The Spirit of Bourbon 1 oz chicory/nutmeg syrup* 1 oz cold press coffee
1 oz cream
2 dashes walnut bitters Whipped cream
Shake all ingredients in an iced cocktail shaker and strain into an iced chimney glass. Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle with chicory and nutmeg.
*To make chicory/nutmeg syrup steep combine 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar and 1⁄4 cup of chicory and 1 tsp of nutmeg in a saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved. Allow chicory to steep for about five minutes and then strain out solids ready for use.
