Experience the fun and decadence of The Big Easy (shirt on, this time) with a delicious coffee-meets-bourbon brunch cocktail!
Ingredients:
- 3 oz The Spirit of Bourbon
- 1 oz chicory/nutmeg syrup*
- 1 oz cold press coffee
- 1 oz cream
- 2 dashes walnut bitters
- Whipped cream
- Chicory + nutmeg sprinkle
*Chicory/nutmeg syrup:
- Steep combine 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar and 1⁄4 cup of chicory and 1 tsp of nutmeg in a saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved
- Allow chicory to steep for about five minutes and then strain out solids ready for use
Method:
- Shake all ingredients (except the whipped cream, chicory & nutmeg) in an iced cocktail shaker and strain into an iced chimney glass
- Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle with chicory and nutmeg
