About Bundle: The Free Spirits Foursome

A 750ml bottle of four of our award-winning non-alcoholic expressions:

  • The Spirit of Bourbon
  • The Spirit of Gin
  • The Spirit of Aperitivo Milano
  • The Spirit of Tequila

The Spirit of Bourbon, a rich, oaky, caramel-kissed non-alcoholic alternative to a great Kentucky Bourbon, is made with all natural flavors and functional ingredients to awaken your taste buds, help elevate your mood and recharge your body.

The Spirit of Gin, a smooth, bright and floral non-alcoholic alternative to a London Dry Gin, is made with all natural flavors and functional ingredients to awaken your taste buds, help elevate your mood and recharge your body.

Inspired by the great Italian aperitivos, The Spirit of Aperitivo Milano is a curiously complex, vibrant, bittersweet non-alcoholic aperitivo with notes of bitter citrus, cinnamon, clove and rhubarb, plus functional ingredients to help elevate your mood and recharge your body.

Made with margaritas in mind, The (all-new) Spirit of Tequila is guaranteed to bring the heat to your favorite cocktail. With the same fiery, bold complexity as traditional tequila, the Spirit of Tequila offers a healthier, non-alcoholic alternative, crafted with all natural flavors and ingredients for a refreshing experience.

SO. MANY. COCKTAILS.

Since you can replace your favorite spirit one to one, you can make just about anything. Take a look at a cocktail book; Mr. Boston's has over 300 gin recipes, that's a lot of inspiration for non-alcoholic cocktails.

What are your favorites? Some of ours are

The Spirit of Bourbon: Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Whiskey Sour, Kentucky Mule

The Spirit of Gin: Gin and Tonic, Bee's Knees, Gimlet, Dirty Martini

The Spirit of Tequila: Margaritas, Palomas, Rositas, Siestas, Tequila Sunrise

The Spirit of Milano: Negroni, A Spritz, Boulevardier

So many cocktails, so little time.

FAQS

Will I be able to tell the difference between this and the "real thing"?

Sure, the same way that you know it's not really Tom Cruise jumping out of the helicopter into the burning building. But there you are, gripping the arm rest of your chair, enjoying the heck out of the action.

Do I drink it straight or mix it into a cocktail?

Use Free Spirits the way you'd use a traditional spirit. We're big believers that a great cocktail needs to have the warming burn and bite that is typically associated with alcohol. So each one of the Free Spirits are blended to balance flavor with bite. That said, if you drink it straight, like any spirit, it'll leave some teeth marks. But when mixed into your fav cocktail, we think it creates the perfect nibble for a slow-drinking cocktail.

Cool, cool, cool but how's it made?

Through a process called Distillate Reconstruction, each one of the Free Spirits is crafted by identifying that spirit's unique fingerprint (all of the raw materials, flavors and interactions that give a traditional spirit its unique flavor profile).

Then we source natural ingredients like American white oak, European juniper, and Mexican blue agave, distill their essential flavors, and reconstruct the spirit into something bigger than the sum of its parts.

Where the alcohol was, we infuse ReBel, our own cocktail of B‑vitamins to restore some of what life (and alcohol) can take out of you. Because the goal was never to make something with less. It was to make something more.

"mood enhancers"? Say more words.

We put vitamins B12, B6 & B3 in Free Spirits because your cocktail should lift you up, not wear you down. These essential nutrients help fight fatigue, support brain & mood health, and aid in detox—counteracting what life (and alcohol) takes away.

So, you guys are for an alcohol free lifestyle?

Nope - just one that involves more choice and balance. The truth is that we've gone through our ups and downs with alcohol. We love a great cocktail. We love going out with friends. And we love having a cocktail in hand that is this magical mix of crafted ingredients that come together, all for you in that moment. But what we have learned is that it's not always the alcohol that makes the moment and that there are times when alcohol is right and times where it's not. Free Spirits is for those who value choice without sacrificing the quality of their cocktail experience.

Gluten? Vegan? Humane? Cage free?

Yep. All our products are gluten-free and vegan. And, we don't test on animals because have you ever seen a pig with a cocktail? It's ridiculous. Oh, and we're not a fan of cages. Free Spirits helps you break free from anything that may be holding you back to be your best self.

How should I store it?

Once opened, use the same way you would a traditional spirit. Refrigerate for best results, but do not freeze. Best if poured within 3 months of opening.

Do Free Spirits contain any alcohol?

Our products are classified by the FDA as non-alcoholic, containing less than 0.5% ABV.

What's the point of a non-alcoholic cocktail?

We love a good cocktail. We love the ceremony of making it - or having a professional thoughtfully make it for us. The weight of the glass, the cut of the ice, the slow-drinking bite and the richness of the ingredients as they mingle with one another to form totally new flavors.

And, if you're anything like us, you've figured out that it's not always the alcohol you crave. It's the ceremony. The social interaction. And it's knowing that what's in your glass has been painstakingly crafted from sources around the world by passionate people, all for the moment you're in right now.

You may also notice that we don't use the word "mocktail". It's no big deal but, for us, it conjures-up images of those overly sweet, syrupy, imposters, posing in a hurricane glass and wearing a whipped cream hat. Mocktails are missing something. They're "less than". Cocktails made with Free Spirits lift you up. They are "more than" your traditional cocktail.

Reviews Summary
Customers say these spirits taste remarkably authentic, with many praising how closely they resemble traditional gin, bourbon, and tequila. Users find the gin crisp and botanical with a peppery bite, perfect for gin and tonics with tonic water and lime. The bourbon receives praise for its warm spice and authentic flavor, though some note it's quite peppery. Many appreciate the tequila's spicy character in margaritas and cocktails. Several customers mention the products work well in mixed drinks and mocktails. Common feedback includes difficulty opening the cork-style bottles, with some requesting screw-top alternatives. While most find the flavors convincing substitutes, a few note they're not identical to traditional spirits. Many users appreciate having quality options for reducing alcohol consumption while maintaining cocktail rituals.

    A very nice NA Bourbon

I'm probably a tough sell, because I drink bourbon either neat, or on the rocks, but not buried in a cocktail. Free Spirits Bourbon is the only one I have found so far that does it for me. Thanks, Free Spirits !

    Better than the real thing!

I found a nice dealcoholized sparkling wine and was grateful to find this apertivo to make Aperol(ish) Spritzes just in time for summer. Don't tell the Italians, but I actually like them better WITHOUT the alcohol now! Grazie!

    As good as it gets

I love gin. I’m also on a 6-12 month cleansing vacation from alcohol. I did some research and ordered a bottle. Short of some of my very esoteric and expensive gins, this makes gin cocktails that are indistinguishable to my palette. I have no intention of giving this up when I come off my cleansing time; it’s that good.

    Scratches the itch.

I really enjoy a good Old Fashionedn and this makes great ones. While not an exact match, I've grown to appreciate the nuanced flavor on it's own merits. If you like this first drink, you should definitely try a second.

    Hits the spot

I drink for pleasure, not for a buzz, and Free Spirits elixirs allow me to make craft cocktails that absolutely quench my desire for an appetizing and exciting beverage that tingles my tastebuds. I enjoy the recipes on the website and also like pouring freestyle, without a recipe but with a flavor in mind.
