For the perfectly fruity, complex and refreshing Summer cocktail, The Summer Sling, featuring The Spirit of Tequila will hit the spot.
Ingredients

2 ½ oz The Spirit of Tequila
- 4 slices of cucumber
- 1 oz cane sugar syrup
- 1 ½ oz lemon juice
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 4 dashes of peach bitters
- 2 oz soda
- A drizzle of blueberry grenadine * or any high-quality grenadine
Method
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the cucumber with the simple syrup
Add the lemon juice, pineapple juice and bitters
Shake hard until the ingredients are well integrated (about 15 -20 shakes)
Fill a Collins glass with crushed ice and strain the cocktail
Drizzle the grenadine over the foam and garnish with a cherry and a peel of cucumber
Recipe Note
* Blueberry grenadine:
- Add 1 cup of blueberry juice, 1 cup of sugar and the rind of a whole orange
- Bring to boil and simmer for 20 mins
- Allow to cool and reserve
