FAQS

Will I be able to tell the difference between this and the "real thing"?

Sure, the same way that you know it's not really Tom Cruise jumping out of the helicopter into the burning building. But there you are, gripping the arm rest of your chair, enjoying the heck out of the action.

Do I drink it straight or mix it into a cocktail?

Use Free Spirits the way you'd use a traditional spirit. We're big believers that a great cocktail needs to have the warming burn and bite that is typically associated with alcohol. So each one of the Free Spirits are blended to balance flavor with bite. That said, if you drink it straight, like any spirit, it'll leave some teeth marks. But when mixed into your fav cocktail, we think it creates the perfect nibble for a slow-drinking cocktail.

Cool, cool, cool but how's it made?

Through a process called Distillate Reconstruction, each one of the Free Spirits is crafted by identifying that spirit's unique fingerprint (all of the raw materials, flavors and interactions that give a traditional spirit its unique flavor profile).

Then we source natural ingredients like American white oak, European juniper, and Mexican blue agave, distill their essential flavors, and reconstruct the spirit into something bigger than the sum of its parts.

Where the alcohol was, we infuse ReBel, our own cocktail of B‑vitamins to restore some of what life (and alcohol) can take out of you. Because the goal was never to make something with less. It was to make something more.

"mood enhancers"? Say more words.

We put vitamins B12, B6 & B3 in Free Spirits because your cocktail should lift you up, not wear you down. These essential nutrients help fight fatigue, support brain & mood health, and aid in detox—counteracting what life (and alcohol) takes away.

So, you guys are for an alcohol free lifestyle?

Nope - just one that involves more choice and balance. The truth is that we've gone through our ups and downs with alcohol. We love a great cocktail. We love going out with friends. And we love having a cocktail in hand that is this magical mix of crafted ingredients that come together, all for you in that moment. But what we have learned is that it's not always the alcohol that makes the moment and that there are times when alcohol is right and times where it's not. Free Spirits is for those who value choice without sacrificing the quality of their cocktail experience.

Gluten? Vegan? Humane? Cage free?

Yep. All our products are gluten-free and vegan. And, we don't test on animals because have you ever seen a pig with a cocktail? It's ridiculous. Oh, and we're not a fan of cages. Free Spirits helps you break free from anything that may be holding you back to be your best self.

How should I store it?

Once opened, use the same way you would a traditional spirit. Refrigerate for best results, but do not freeze. Best if poured within 3 months of opening.

Do Free Spirits contain any alcohol?

Free Spirits products are non-alcoholic, meaning they contain less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). Any alcohol present is at trace levels, similar to amounts naturally found in some everyday foods and beverages.

What's the point of a non-alcoholic cocktail?

We love a good cocktail. We love the ceremony of making it - or having a professional thoughtfully make it for us. The weight of the glass, the cut of the ice, the slow-drinking bite and the richness of the ingredients as they mingle with one another to form totally new flavors.

And, if you're anything like us, you've figured out that it's not always the alcohol you crave. It's the ceremony. The social interaction. And it's knowing that what's in your glass has been painstakingly crafted from sources around the world by passionate people, all for the moment you're in right now.

You may also notice that we don't use the word "mocktail". It's no big deal but, for us, it conjures-up images of those overly sweet, syrupy, imposters, posing in a hurricane glass and wearing a whipped cream hat. Mocktails are missing something. They're "less than". Cocktails made with Free Spirits lift you up. They are "more than" your traditional cocktail.

    It's a delightful drink

I've now been drinking Free Spirits for some time and find it is a great alternative to gin. In fact, it's so pleasant that when someone accidently handed me a 'real' gin and tonic, I gagged on the taste. It was like drinking juniper flavored rubbing alcohol. Free Spirit non-alcoholic gin is fresh and refreshing with a palette pleasing flavor that I find delightful. I now order it by the case continually. Thank you!

    Best G & T

Both my best friend and I love a good G & T especially on a hot summer day. Recently served her the Spirit of Gin without her knowing them asked her what she thought of the new gin I was using. When I told her what I used she could not believe it was NA. Think you might be getting a new client.

    Moctail gin fizz

I first tried the recipe on the bottle - it was gross to me with the tonic . Then I remember watching the bartender make me a gin fizz and asked him how much alcohol it had in it and how it was made as Im alergic to certain foods. I replaced the tonic water with club soda..it was tolerable. Then messed around with it . I tried 2oz of the spirt of gin, 2oz of a simple syrup I made myself with pure cane sugar and 2oz of club soda muddled it and viola! Perfection😍. The B vitamins my brain craved were happy too and it helped me reduce stress. Real gin makes me sleepy and to relaxed -not very helpful when I need to be awake and alert . This doesnt do that so I can drink it but still function as responsible adult in the middle of the day. Thank you Free Spirits for making a non alcoholic gin substitute. My next goal is to try to make the bees knees mocktail out of this once I can get my hands on a new bottle. The liquor store near me is struggling to get more in 😔.

    Great Gin and Tonic

Wasn't sure about the Gin then I did a Gin and tonic with a twist of lime and dash of lemon. Needless to say that bottle didn't last long at all.
